Would my mother too get a separate passport request or should I submit Mother's passport along with my father's(Principal applicant) ?

"a. If your passport is from a country whose citizens need a visa to travel to Canada, you will need to submit original passport(s) for you and each accompanying family member."

Normally only one passport request is sent to the principal applicant.
Depending upon the country of citizenship of your parents, passport submission of all accompanying dependents needs to be done.
There must be enough details in the passport request letter.

Someone who has got PPR should be able to confirm this. IRCC isn't picking up the phone.

I was confused as she had to do re-medical and didn't hear on her status post that.

My mother received 2nd medical as 1st medical expired. I booked appointment for medical exam. As per panel physician, IME number is not yet activated. Anyone know how long will it take for IME number to activate? Without IME# they cannot perform medical exam.

I 'm in similar situation , parents are in Canada since October 2021, and already informed them change of address when my parents arrived.
On February 02, 2022 , I got pre-arrival service letter(Passport request) , and I sent them immediately change of address and don't need to send them Passport coz it consider as Virtual landing. Since then no updates, I call them and they said , need to wait. Very surprise to see how long they took time to process to issue Co-PR if parents are already in Canada , I'm very very frustrated to see this IRCC system very much chaotic. Feeling helpless the way they handling immigration

Same here received prearrival on Feb 3rd and nothing after that. Hopefully soon we will get some update.

Did you inform change of address of Canada via webform? In my case addressed changed in two working days .Ecase showing canada address.

when is ur parents 2nd Medical expiring???

My parents are going back to home country April 8th.. and now i am worried that i need a 2nd PPR???? and their medicals will expire AUG 2022..

Hi All,

Would like to know if anyone in the same state:

Application sent on 27th June, 2019
Medical requests received in August 2021. Results received in September 2021.
Biometrics request received in August 2021. No updates about results received.
PCC and Relationship proof request received on 19th January, 2022. Sent the details on 10th February, 2022.
No update received since then.

If anyone has/had similar experience then how much time it took after sending the proof of relationship. Also, in none of my documents, my mother name is there and they said that no affidavit. The only document is passport. Did they sent a subsequent query to anyone for proving the relationship proof?

Has anyone contacted IRCC agent recently? I am trying but their options are not very clear, Can some please please guide to which options should we choose to get contacted with an agent?

I want to ask that Primary Applicant is here in Canada and Dependent is back home. How do we submit passport for dependent a Primary is in Canada and can be landed virtually.
