Parents and Grandparents Sponsorship 2019

Hello everyone

Im a jun 2019 applicant. I recently got 'decision made' in ecas under the sponsor for my parents. When i checked in mycic, there are 2 letters for biometric collection for my parents. Now i have 3 questions

1. Does it mean that i as sponsor have been approved? i am asking because it doesn't mention anywhere.
2. Since all the VAC in India are closed and the letter said that my parents only have 90 days, does any one know how this will work?
3. My parents passports expired in May 2021 (this month). What are the next steps to update CIC on new passports?

2. They will automatically extended it, once vfs resumed the operation you can use the same letter to get their bio done.
3. You can go ahead and renew their passport as ircc will be asking for same near the final stage of your application. (minimum requirement for passport is 6 months of validity)

Once we get the new passports, how do we update CIC? Will VAC give any problem since the biometrics are requested on old passport application?

When did your parents take their re-medical exam ? My parents took re-medical exam ten days ago but still wait for the result from IRCC.

The Medical was requested on April 18th and all the test was done on April 22nd. The report was generated and uploaded to the system on April 25th. So, it took exactly a month for them to verify the result.

Are there people whose parents’ medicals are expired in Feb and they are still waiting for extension/remedicals from CPC-M?

Also, i ordered gcms notes on Mar 8th and have not got them yet. I emailed them in april end and no response to that either.

having a hard time to get medical appointment for parents from Lahore pk. Anyone facing same difficulties to get medical appointment. Please share your experience.
They said send us email and they will only response over the email with appointment date. Send emails 3 times last week. No response yet

When did you get the request? I am May 29th and haven't heard a peep outta London since 2019.

I Have ordered for GCMS notes on March 5th and received it on May 12. They are taking longer then their usual.

Usually they get a remedial request right before DM so parents don’t have to redo medical more than one time.

Currently I did update their address. My question is about the time that we applied back to 2019. Should I inform them the time that we applied they were here?

No need to inform IRCC that they were in Canada when you applied in 2019. It would have been in their application anyways.
