Received an email from CIC today stating that my application is incomplete because 5406 is missing for both my parents which i submitted.
Anyone else had the same issue; if so what you did?
Do they Acknowledge the receipt of submitted missing docs?

Same here. Got the email jul17, sent the updated forms same day. Called IRCC to confirm they've received it Jul18. But other than that, nothing...just wait. No ECAS, No AOR.

I advise you to submit IMM0008 form to reply Aug, 1st 2019 CIC request to Include father in the application.
If CIC asking you to include father in the application.>> you have to just follow CIC instruction and include your dad as dependent section in IMM0008.

ECAS shows DM status now.

It also says " We sent PRINCIPAL APPLICANT's NAME a letter on August 6, 2019. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."
I assume it's related to Bio request letter sent in mycic and there is no letter sent through mail.

@robertp breaked down pretty much your scenario and answered to the fullest. If you still couldn't understand after 1 week of people trying you to explain I think you need some professional help.

Validation is merely important when there is lot of data that the agents don't want to manually input in the system. For your case only one form is pending to be completed and all they want is one damn form. Forget about the rest of the forms. If it doesn't validate it's ok. Just send them a form with a explaination letter why you are not able to validate? That's the reason you all need to follow this forum on daily basis atleast until you are approved with your parents PR. It's not a big thing to ask for, correct? At the beginning of this forum a lot of people called CIC for validation issue and they were informed to send that form without validation and explain the errors. You are just wasting your time here analysing things deeply. Just send the requested form is simple as that.
