Did anyone get confirmation of receipt (not automated reply ) of asking documents in generic email sent by cic on 4/5 June?

I got one automated reply right away but I am waiting for customize confirmation of receipt.

Whenever cic starts background check, does they send email to us or it

No email for that, just 'processing your background check' in your online account.

Guys just curious did anyone here after receiving that generic email did status change that we are processing your background check? Mine didn’t change so far.. I received that generic email on June 5th and submitted docs on June 8th . As I see some of applicants only receive PCC request and now background check is in process. Happy for them but just curious

I received that pre-arrival email on May 18. And yesterday the status changed to they are processing background check. Best luck to you.

Hello, seems like I'm little lost here. Does anyone know if the NDVO is moving applications to Ottawa? Because most of the applications are saying Ottawa visa office for Indian Citizens instead of NDVO. I have submitted my application last year in July 2017 and file was transferred to NDVO in November 2017 but have not received any update since than regarding the medicals or police clearance. Thank you for your reply.

I have submitted my application last year in July 2017 and file was transferred to NDVO in November 2017 but have not received any update since than regarding the medicals or police clearance. Thank you for your reply.

Few applications are processing in NDVO and others are in Ottawa for citizen of India. But there is no rule which application will go where. I think it is just random selection.

Hi All,

Need suggestion...My parents got medical request on May 17 2018. They had completed medical in Bangalore on June 05 2018.They were told that medical results will be uploaded with in 7 days. However, last night they got call from the hospital that they did not do the kidney test based on the blood sample and they have to visit again.....or get the blood work in a different city and the results e-mailed to them.

It is clearly evident that my parents medical reports were not submitted by the hospital to the immigration, Since the deadline to complete medicals is 30 days....will this impact my parents PR application....How do I get the extension for such issues ?

I have been trying to call the immigration customer care and no luck so far to talk to them....

Appreciate your suggestions.

Hi, My parents got their medical done on June 4th. They are here in Canada on Super visa. Today I called the doctor to see if she had submitted the Medical results and the office said it has been submitted yesterday but for my mom, she wants to see her again to discuss the chest Xray. Any idea how this process works. Even if the results are not ok, do they send it to immigration? Any information would be appreciated. I am really nervous. Thank you.

it call upfront medical, just takes more time, they can ask her to repeat Xray in 6 mon.
i had upfront med for my dad so my mom had medical done 25 days before dad was done

ND is pretty quite so far, CIC split all Indian between Ottawa and ND
