I received this mail from APEGA this morning. Can anybody help me understand what it means? Do I have to provide a P.Eng validator?
At this time, the Board has deferred approving your application and requires you to complete the requirement(s) indicated below:
1. Meet the minimum requirement in the following competency categories:
Competency Category 1 – Technical Competence
The Board wishes to inform you that you must provide acceptable validator(s) who took technical responsibilities for the following key competencies: 1.1, 1.5-1.10.

Hi,
Yes. I had the same issue. Your validator answered "NO" to the "technical responsibilities" question in the overall reference form (VORF). As the applicants cannot see this form, the applicants only know about this when the board decision is sent...
APEGA told me that I need to provide a new validator. The validator you provide should have been registered at the time of the work from which you are using competency examples. If no, you will need to provide new examples and new validator(s).
Was your case Oct or Nov?
