Is birth certificate mandatory document for outland sponsorship? We have all the docs except that... Wife is in India I'm citizen in Canada. Thanks

If you're a Canadian citizen, your passport will be sufficient. If you're a permanent resident, your PR card should be used.

You must take all the necessary documents for PA and sponsor from the official site (guide). If this document is necessary, you must explain its absence (by the way, this is also written in the guide!). Do you trust people more than the official source? besides for different countries - a different list of documents!!!

True - this is actually for the Primary applicant, not for myself as I have birth certificate.
