Hai friends, I have some doubts regarding the outland sponsorship. Please please help me..Thanks in advance.

My wife who is a permanent resident of Canada is going to sponsor me. Eventhough I am in canada now on work permit we would like to go with outland sponsorship.

1. I already filled out Part 1: Sponsorship forms. Now I need to fill out Part 2: Immigration forms and country specific forms. My doubt is in which form I need to make the change to specify that I am currently in canada and applying for outland within canada.

2. I already went to Indian embassy and applied for the police clearance, they told me that it will take at least 2 to 3 months to get it. So do I need to wait till the police clearance to apply for the sponsorship or can I do with the receipt?

3. Do I need to submit police clearance and medical certificate along with the application or do I need to wait till CIC asks for it?

PLEASE PLEASE HELP...iTS URGENT

1. You don't use a form to specify the `change'; you simply use all of the forms in the Outland application (as if you were living outside of Canada).
Use your Canadian address as your home address in your application.

2. For an Outland application it is strongly recommended to include everything (including PCC and medical results), or your entire application could be deemed incomplete and may be returned.

3. See answer above. ;)

Thank you so much for the help Ponga. I really appreciate that.

My real problem is my PGWP expires in 8 months. If I wait for the PCC, it will take up 3 months for that also. Is that the only option I have?

You have the options of submitting an incomplete application and risking being rejected, submitting an inland application and waiting 2+ years for the process to be completed, submitting a CEC application, or submitting a complete outland application as suggested.

From your opinion I think the best option is to wait three months and apply only after getting the PCC. I will go with you guys bcoz I got the best advices from this forum rather than any other lawyer.

Please solve my last doubt.

I have a doubt with medical examination. When I have to do it? Can I do it now or do I need to wait till I get the cic enquiry?
What kind of medical examination it would be? Upfront medical or what?

Sorry if I am asking too many questions.Really confused..thats why.

You should do your medical up front, do not send your application in without it. You application could possibly be returned as incomplete. If the form or document is listed in the Check List for Outland application and it applies to you, then include it. Good Luck :)

Guys, I got a question for you.
If a person who has been living in Canada on working or student visa is applying to be sponsored as overseas applicant, what visa office he/she has to show in the forms? And what will happen when PR is ready to be issued? He/she will have to send the passport abroad to that VO? How? It is so risky to mail even by corrier. ( I kknow a case when FedEx LOST passport with PR visa in it!!)

Is your question, by chance, regarding this thread:

If it is, let's keep the discussion going there because it doesn't pertain to this person's thread. ;)
