Hi Users,

I have the following concerns, I got recently married in Feb 2013 and now I am back in Canada (PR Holder) and wants to sponsor my wife. Please advise my following concerns-:

1) Do I need to send both sponsorship and Immigration forms package with Visa fee in one package from here to CPC Mississauga? If yes then I should have my wife's medical and police clearance for that which i can not get it done without knowing if my sponsorship application will be approved or not. Please suggest.
2) Or I should only send the sponsorship forms right now and wait for their approval in next 2 months and once approved my wife will submit the Immigration forms (step 2) from New Delhi with medical, police clearance etc.
3) what type of fees I need to pay along with my application package only for my wife?

Waiting for expert replies on this.

Thanks
Ripz

You nee to send everything to Mississauga - both your forms and your wife's forms. If you only send yours, the application will be returned to you as incomplete. Include the medical and police certificates as well.

The total fees for sponsoring your wife are $1040.

Thanks Scyall, So as per your advise, I should ask her to get her police clearance done.
but for medical how can i get it done without knowing the doctors panels as they are not provided by Visa office?

All of the information you need can be found on the CIC web site.

Also,

As I need to have my wife's premedical from New Delhi. So my concern are as follows-:

1) what exactly the physician will give me and what shall I have to obtain from him to process my wife's sponsorship file?
2) where the actual results will go and how would they match the results with my file when my file from Mississauga will move ahead to New Delhi?
3) Is it necessary to change my wife address in passport after marriage as she is living at my address?

Thanks in advance.

1) IMM 1017 is what your medical officer will have to give you - submit the original (take a copy and have with you)
2) Don;t worry about this. Both New Delhi and CPC-M will have access to your medical file once submitted
3) It may or may not add values to your file

Good luck
