Outland Sponsorship China- Police check

My wife (chinese) and I are in the process of preparing our documents for a outland sponsorship. We have her police check from China complete, however we are having an issue getting the translation notorized. They are insisting we provide the company stamp, (from the company she was with 10 years ago), In order to have the translation completed.... I'm curious if anyone has had similar issues and if so how was it solved....

never heard that issue before, I think they want to make sure the company name is absolutely correct before translating any responsible documents. maybe you should try another authorized translation company... different agents may have different ways.

The police had told us we needed to get it done at this specific bureau- which is the Chinese Law in regards to a document of this level (apparently).... So its at a specific bureau in Tianjin where it must be done.... (however if you know China, another officer might tell you something completely different). If anyone has a specific office/agency/bureau they can recommend it would be greatly appreciated.
