Tracker says I got scheduled for oath! Feb 23rd is the oath date

Im definitely happy but I do not trust this office, it has happened before that they scheduled someone and didnt end up inviting them (sending the invite email)

I really advise 2019 applicants who are still stuck to email the office, it might not help but you never know

thanks man i really still am very pessimistic about actually getting the email invite lol, they have done it before

Thanks and good luck, yea i feel with trucks madness the online applicants will continue to take IRCC oath priority as workers cant go downtown and process paper based applications that are atuck from 2019.

they slept on it for more than a year then things went by quickly, it depends on your agent, thats why always expect anything, u never know how things go, whether positively or negatively

The way ircc works with paper apps is that they either go to office as a skeleton team or they take these files to their home to work from there. i think they take them in batches, so when they grab your file and work it, it is a matter of luck. files are not sorted by date, which they should be

I guess the truckers moved on Queen Street. Hopefully, the Ottawa immigration office returns to the work, but I think it would be impossible in the next couple of weeks.

I hope so but knowing how ircc works they probably wont go there until the issue is totally resolved

Finally, my test status got updated to "Completed". Now i'll begin my wait for the oath.

The next oath ceremony is Feb 23 for 2020 applicants, i guess for 2019 people ( assuming truckers are out of the street asap) we might have chance todo oath in march. Else it will be long time for us to get oath.
