Just got the oaths date, scheduled Oct 12th. FYI I wrote to my MP two days ago and they called the citizenship office too. Not sure if that brought up some light.

I think Ottawa office. I got test invite from them.

Congratulations! Considering you’re Ottawa office that timeline is quite fast actually. Some on this thread have been waiting since 2019 and 2020 is your oath also Ottawa or Niagara Falls? Just curious

I still didn't receive email, so not sure which office for oaths. Btw as I mentioned, I wrote to MP office. Also I added a special note through web form that I will be out of country for a month in December with proof of travel, and requested an oaths date before or after that. Also with a note that my PR status expires January.

those who took the oath on Sep 13th, has anyone had any updates? my application status is still "in progress"

Does anyone know if both husband and wife will get the oath date for the same day (the application was together)? My tracker got update with the date but my husband's did not. co-incidentally he will be travelling at that time, so it would be great if he is scheduled later

There seems to be no method to the madness - it can be anywhere from a few months to a few years (!) In my case, only Background and Test are completed. Rest all are either in progress or not started. I applied in June 2021.

Other people on this forum have reported that spouses who apply together are usually invited to take the oath on the same day and at the same time.
