We were also on the Aug. 23 oath ceremony.
We just checked today and our online status is "Closed" so we can only guess the certificate is in the mail.
Now to stalk the postman. lol

Exactly on the same boat..lol. I just saw the application got closed so hoping sometime next week we should be getting our certificates.

Hello All,

I am an Ottawa paper based applicant, I applied on Oct 20th, BCG completed on Jan 31st. After that there has been no update, radio silence. I have tried raising GCMS notes, multiple follows up to MP but no go. Is there any one else in the same boat? I see many individuals are reporting superb progress. Please let me know if there is anything else we can do or if I am the only one alone in this situation?

Unfortunately Ottawa is THE slowest office. It seems common for people processed by Ottawa to wait over a year even to get test invite. Unfortunately until you approach 27 months, there really isn't anything else you can do aside from periodically reordering GCMS notes, recontacting MP, submitting webform, calling (and probably being told to wait because you're under 27 months - but you might just get a nicer agent one time)

Application status is DM and been waiting for oath invitation since June.

Unfortunately Ottawa is THE slowest office. It seems common for people processed by Ottawa to wait over a year even to get test invite. Unfortunately until you approach 27 months, there really isn't anything else you can do aside from periodically reordering GCMS notes, recontacting MP, submitting webform, calling (and probably being told to wait because you're under 27 months - but you might just get a nicer agent one time)

I can confirm about the slowness of Ottawa. I received my test invite more than a year after applying and no updates after test was marked as complete in July 2022.

I've been waiting for a little over 2 months and already pulling out my hair. I can't even imagine how difficult it must be waiting for 9 months!

I passed the Citizenship test since June 2021 (more than 1 year). All fields are completed since January this year (about 8 months ago) and still waiting for oath ‍
