Hi Experts, I have received a letter asking to submit the Option C for the year 2014 for both myself and mywife, my quesiton is Can I print Option C from my CRA log in and submit to the CPC Mississauga office? Will they accept or I hav to request to CRA and submit to them?
The Option C Printout (obtained by calling the CRA and having it mailed to you) is no longer strictly required. The updated document checklist (it was updated in February I think) now gives specific instructions for getting the Notice of Assessment off your CRA account. Yes, the printed one is fine.

That's interesting. I thought the Option C was required because it had information on if the sponsor received any social assistance that the NoA didn't have. Or is that on the NoA now (I see that the NoA format has changed a lot since last year)

I was wondering about this as well. I receive disability which shows up as social assistance payments on the Option C. However there is no such information on my NoA. There is some kind of access code on it though, maybe they use that to access the information.
FTR you can print out both the Option C and the NoA from your CRA account, as long as it's not your first tax return online I think.
