Dear members,

I am in Canada on a open workpermit and planning to apply for study permit for joining in one of the college here in Ontario.

One of the consultant suggested us that because I am already once been on a open workpermit, it may not be possible to get PGWP after completing my studies using study permit.

Can someone guide me on this ?

The consultant is wrong. Suggest you not seek the advice of this consultant any further. They have no idea what they are talking about.

A PGWP is certainly possible.

Thanks a lot, That bought peace of mind. If I am not bothering, I have one more question As I am already in Canada and have all required documents to submit for a study permit wanted to apply as soon as possible. My course require to work while I study, do I need to apply for any workpermit or my study permit itself is enough to cover it ?
