Open work permit Under Public Policy Timelines

FYI, I was on implied status but I didn't apply restoration and I explained why I did not in the letter. (Very detail and I also attached the expired pgwp and the confirmation letter for VR Application)

I got the approvals today both VR and WP. I'm not recommending my way though. I worried about this so much until today. Good luck.

What's the validity of VR issued? Is it till the wp expiry

No it expires 3 months later but it doesn't matter because wp is longer.

You should go through the questionnaire.
I had a medical test for pr application so I submitted mine but I dont think it's required

My bad.
It is 18 months from the day it gets approved. I was counting 1 month left on my current work permit for which made it 17.

But PGWP extension is for 18 months from the date it gets approved regardless you have some time left on your current WP.

how long did it take IRCC to update their decision ?
Mine just updated in the morning.
