Open Work Permit Application

Hi, I submitted my common-law sponsorship application together with an open work permit application. My partner has ETA, we just extend her stay here in Canada every 6 months. We already have AOR with application number and they’re already processing our application. My question is, will IRCC send us something saying that her work permit application is approved or should we make a separate online application for open work permit? Thanks.
