Greetings,

I currently reside in Canada. I have received my open work permit after transitioning from the live-in care giver program. My visa has expired now though and I would like to get a new one travelling from and then back to Canada. I'm currently unemployed. Do I need to be employed in Canada before I can get my new visa? Can self-employed workers qualify?
