i'm new to this forum. This is regarding my son who just graduated and wants to come to canada on a student visa.Now all the colleges that offer program in his field of study,offer a one year program.
My query is suppose he completes one program and joins another one of one year,will 1+1 year of post graduate study make him eligible for a 3 year open work permit.I'm asking because the CIC website says that if a student completes his post secondry in canada and then joins a college,he/she may be eligible for a 3 year open work permit. No explicit information about a 1+1 year of graduate certificate.
