Can two Post graduation diplomas of 1 year help me get a 3 year work Permit?

Hello! I have a bachelor's degree and my consultant told me to go for a 1 year post graduate diploma as you'll have high chances of getting your visa approved but I told him that if I study for only 1 year then I'll be eligible for one 1 year work permit. He said that you can study another Post graduation diploma program after completing your first and then you'll have two years of Canadian education and thus, you'll be eligible for 3 year work permit. Is this true?

Not that difficult to extend study permit as long as you have an offer.
