I was on call with OINP helpline asking that what will happen to our applocations during the month of December and January.
The lady on-line with me said that they will not process our applications during these couple of months. However they will keep issuing AORs during these months as OINP EE stream is not completely filled and still many nominations are yet to be handed out of those alloted 2700.

Thanks for the info +1. I'm sure you'll be getting your Aor anytime soon. I still have an unanswered query about the number of certificates, do you think the 2,700 nominations will all be given this year?
That's good news. At least we will see some progress on our applications. I am also a bit worried that my demand draft might expire before OINP en-cash it. I have heard they are valid for 6 months from issue.
How will they issue AOR if they don't process our application? Could you please clarify. My application has reached today, so when can I expect AOR? In Feb?

Issuing AOR is not considered as applocation according to the OINP representative on call with me last night.
Also, OINP office will not be closed during Dec and Jan. But they will not issue any nominations during this period.
They will however keep on receiving applications and and issuing AORs untill 2700 seats are filled.

I had sent my docs to OINP on 26/10/2015 and it reached their office on 30/10/2015. Given the fact that they do not process application in Dec and Jan, does that mean that i'll have to wait till end of March to get AOR and Nomination from the authorities?

From what OINP authorities told me on call, they will keep on issuing AOrs during Dec and Jan but will not work on application processing past AOr stage.
Also, as someone from yesterday got an AOt with file no 2705, this is a good news for all of us waiting for an AOR under FSw category.
