Welcome Kariboo, I will add you to the list. Can you please provide me with the NOC info?

Hello,

If the noc is the profession, my husband has 5122.
We received an email today asking us to add Ontario to our diploma évaluation.

But the food good news is : we received the fédéral invitation yesterday!!! We have 472 points!!!

I have No idea if we should continue the process with Ontario to be more secure... Has someone an opinion?

Thanks!

If you got ita, then no don't proceed with ontario. The goal of ontario nomination is to get ita at the end.

Congrats

It's somehow frustrating because we don't have a proper web base site where OINP can update status for all applications.

I don't know how long will it take for them to implement such thing but i truly believe it's a MUST.

> They could have create a database with information for all applicants.
> Then avail it as a report format online so that each applicant can view their status and also a clear statistics on the general progress.

We don't know whether they have started to process applications of January 2016 or not... yet we have February... March applications... :(

Let's hope for some good news very soon...

Updated list :
--------------
In the spirit of tracking the progress of Applications to OINP on the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream I have modified the format of the list to only include the applications from this stream received and in the process of being sent (PT-NOI received and applicant is preparing to send the package. I also included the veterans on this forum to show the progress on the stream a reflect the nominations received on this stream in this forum as many question have been asked. If I forget anybody, please brring that to my attention so that I can correct the omission.

Hi Damocles,

Unfortunately I haven't received the ITA yet. It's the AOR that I received on Nov 1st. I am still in the waiting boat. :-*

Aal, you should definitely email them. I emailed them saying WTH, and received the AOR the next day. I think my email prompted some digging.

OK , sorry for the mistake! I must have accidentally mixed your detals with Kariboo's, I will rectify it strait away!

I have just figured something.
I have sent my application using the most standard way - post Office (of course tracked one).
Here comes the fun part.
I was using post Office 3x in the past (with ICAS) and all went through without problems.
At that time I did not have a hobby like to track my mail. (which I now have). And now that I am checking my mail day by day, there is no what so ever information from Canada side (also i have clear information from my country).
So I checked a bit my older tracked mails to Canada (and they were treated the same way).
I guess I will not know exact arrival time of the package. Soo... I will give post time until end of next week and then I will have to call the Ontario Office (what a joy), to find out if my application has arrived.
Then again I think, that post Office can at least manage it properly to deliver it to the governmental building.
Well fingers crossed, that I will get info soon.

Let's also hope that there is still time before the 45 days from PT NOI expire!

Actually I have one additional chance appart calling them. I can meet them in person ( I am going to a job fair - Destination Canada and Ontario will be there).
My experience from ICAS is that the package is delivered in max. 2 weeks. It left my country 2nd of November, so it must be in Canada by now. I will just call and hunt them down).
From those of you, who tried to call Ontario in the past, what was the easiest way get at least an operator on the line?
Thank you in advance for advice

I call on the number on their website, asking for French service. They seem very stressed and asked me to wait in order to call a staff who speak French; the same person then said in English itself that he will transfer my call. I wait forever but never hear anyone coming to me. I did that 3 time consecutively, the same thing happen and no one come to me. I did it again and then the staff started to disconnect his phone after I ask for French service.

I would advise you to speak in English as it is sure you would get an immediate response.

I have NEVER been able to get someone on the line. It always goes to voicemail.

thanks a lot for info both of you. Worst case scenario is that I will ask in person in that job fair.

And the quota is more than 2700. => Extract from http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPNEW.html. I Quote

"There are many ways to immigrate to Ontario:

The federal government determines the maximum number of nominations Ontario can award annually. Each year, there are about 300,000 immigrants that come to Canada. Of these, Ontario is allowed to select 5,500 through the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) in 2016. This program, which represents only 1.8 per cent of total immigration to Canada, is targeted towards filling labour market gaps with skilled workers. It is just one option for immigrating to Ontario.
Please visit the specific webpages for those streams that are still accepting applications or expressions of interest: French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream, Corporate stream and Entrepreneur stream.
In addition, other options are available from the federal government....."

amongst the nomination todate are also people from December and Jan. Also do not forget that there are also probably a big number of applications that were rejected and also people invited but did not apply (maybe for economical reasons - upfront $1500CAD and were scared)

I believe the quota is including the family members, so 5500 is not about the applicants only. You might add a column to know the number of family members per application. My application is for 4 members for example.

Actually no. If they have distribution of pnp according size or importance of the provine, ontario is in top 3. If you remember for this year they had 47k on pnp. So ontario must have like good 10000 or more from it. So those 10k are transformed into 5500 applications.

Bonjour,
