They once released an update that they will be working, despite the covid issue. My assumption is that they are working remotely, so productivity may be a bit slowed,thus impacting on the applicants' timelines

I can't see any progress in the timeline this week. Their work is a non-essential business, so they may work at home from Mar/24. They may not have any protocol how to work at home.

Hi guys.. I got nominated by skilled trades oinp .. but after the ita .. I got temporarily lay off for 3 months ...
On the pr application I’ve showed the about the lay off on the employment letter and the rejoining date.
My PNP has no employment restrictions.
So should i also inform oinp about the lay off ? It doesn’t say anywhere on certificate that I should inform immediately about the change of job.

You don’t need to inform temporary leave to OINP. You were nominated by one year experience. You can change job anytime. Only job offer streams have to keep employment with supporting employer until getting PR.

Don’t think about that. You are in the better position. Many foreign workers have to go back to their countries if they lose the job as you asked.

I have submitted my OINP - International Student Stream application and its currently in Assessment status. I have noticed that one of my passport pages number is hidden by Canada Visa and website clearly states that all the page numbers should be visible.

What are my options now?

When did you receive that request? Do they work now? My answer is to remove Canada visa and scan the passport again as I did.
