There is a lot of the same situation. Just waiting. Temporary leave should be ok. Refer to the below comment that is in the checklist of the stream.
6.2.1 Changes to the Conditions of Your Job Offer
"You must notify the OINP if your job offer or employment is terminated by yourself or your employer. Please note that your nomination will be cancelled if you are no longer working for the employer that supported your application."

Alright, thank you! this guide is effective July 9, 2019. As I got nominated by OINP under this stream on September 2018, these new standards (6.1, 6.2, and 6.2.1) were not mentioned on the guide that used. After nomination, they only mentioned the extension of nomination certificate (6.3 on your guide).

Mar/13/2020 - Assessment
Mar/17/2020 - Decision In Progress
They once released an update that they will be working, despite the covid issue. My assumption is that they are working remotely, so productivity may be a bit slowed,thus impacting on the applicants' timelines
