Good news! I just got a call from the concierge at my apartment building to let me know I have received a package from Opportunities Ontario! Seems like I will have the certificate in my hands once I come back home from work Almost 11 months later, but FINALLY!

I applied on 20th Jan 2014 as well ... Hey Semmir did you get any email or any sort of acknowledgement that they received your application.
I sent an email requesting info but all in vain!
@samboy2005 I called OPNP on Friday and came to know theystarted issuing file numbers for the applicants who applied at the end of December. You would get the file number by this month, I guess.

hello everyone,,
i am going to apply for pnp under international masters graduate this october/november.
In opnp website they have mentioned two ways of showing funds like one is 11086$ savings for the last six months and second one is having 8000 $ in the account and receiving 300$ per month from the parent as financial support. I just want to know that which one is the better way to show funds?
Do they give any preferences on the proof of savings?
with regards to your question, I believe as long as you can provide the proof that the fund is available to support you, either from inside Canada or outside, you are good to go.
however, if you can show proof of fund from Canadian institution, in case they want to check or ask you for update, it is easier to provide documents.
