Ontario Health Card as ID proof?

Hello everyone,

I am from Ontario. and planning to apply soon.

can I give my Health Card as ID proof. it says "health insurance card", are they same docs?


Examples of identification you can use include:

• a copy of the biographical page of your passport/travel document (as requested above and also can be one (1) of your pieces of personal identification)
• driver’s licence
• health insurance card
• senior citizen identification card
• age of majority card
• foreign identity documents, such as a passport or government issued identification documents

Yes, your OHIP card is the same thing as "health insurance card"

i know in Ontario a health card is not accepted as a ID but if it said that then you can use that but its normally not accepted in Ontario.. don't you have a photo ID? i think once the website ask for it you should be good thou.
