I have submitted both OWP and PR applications May 29th and still haven't heard back from CIC, no AOR or anything. Is that normal or is it a sign of trouble?

CIC are pretty hit and miss with sending AOR emails it seems, a handful of people on the spreadsheet didn't get AOR either. You likely would have heard something by now if they had an issue with the PR app (i.e. it would have been returned), so you might not hear anything until your OWP turns up.

I applied ten days before you and received mine on Thursday just gone. Once it turns up, you can use the UCI on there to access eCAS and check everything looks right.

Well I think it's OK because people who didn't send their OWP with PR application to Mississauga send it to Vegreville: (I did! And spousal sponsorship docs to Mississauga) :

Applicants who have already submitted an application for permanent residence under the SCLPC class but have not yet applied for an open work permit should complete a work permit application, include the appropriate fee, indicating that they are applying for an open work permit, and submit it to the Case Processing Centre in Vegreville, at the following address:

CPC – Vegreville
WP - Unit 777
6212-55 Avenue
Vegreville, AB
T9C 1X6

Maybe the process will be slower but nothing to worry about I guess

If I am on PGWP that is expiring at end of 2016, can I apply for a OWP right before my PGWP expires as I will be a inland Spousal Applicant?

You should apply for OWP along with your PR application and send both to CPC Mississauga. You should receive the OWP within 4 months from sending the inland app.

My OWP expire on January 2016 because my pasaporte expired too... Now I'm renewing my passport!.. Someone else renew his OWP already?.. How is the process?

Is that OWP extendable? How long do they issue it for?

Received my OWP Monday Aug. 24. Application received May 11, 2015, Issued August 18, 2015, so a little over three months. Case Type 20, valid for 1 year.

I did the same thing. I was worried about it, but it was processed in 3 months. As long as you paid the fees and sent the correct paper work, it'll come.

I thought the Pilot OWP had Case Type 27, not 20.

I thought it seemed a little odd as well, everyone else is getting type 27. But at the bottom is says pending FC APR, and I didn't do my medical yet, so maybe that is the reason?

No problem, glad it came! Make sure that you check ECAS now that you have your UCI.
