OINP UPDATE FROM ONTARIO IMMIGRATION

Just a quick question. Any idea when can we apply for OINP through Masters Stream ? I mean, any clue when will it be open again ?

According to the announcement, check again in November 2016.

Guys I graduated in April 2015 with Masters from Ontario. Should I wait until next year for my stream to open? What if it doesn't open by November as they say? I'm really afraid. Do I have any other options? I don't have a job yet but my PGWP is valid until Oct 2017.

Why is your PGWP valid till Oct 2017? Didn't you get 3 years?

I'm confused if I should wait for Masters to re-open before my 2 years pass in April 2017, or move to another province and work there before applying for work experience related PNPs. I don't even know which ones are possible.

I have some question regarding update in the PNP. I received my degree on November 2015 and November 2016 will be exactly 1 year of my graduation. In the webiste, it is written that PNP will reopen again in November 2016 (if I am not wrong) and if I apply PNP on November 2016 then do you think that I will be able to get the PR before November 2018 ? As my work permit is valid till November 2018.

Also, in the website, it is also mentioned that you need to apply for PNP after 2 years of your graduation. November 2016 will be excatly one year of my graduation and I am afraid if they change the law from 2 years to one year then it will cause a lot of problem in my immigration. Is it possible that they gonna come with some new rules and regulations in November 2016 (when they will reopen again) ?

Right now, it's still 2 years, until they decide to change it.

Again: nothing prevents them from deciding to change it. But they did not change it yet.

Yeah, it will,be interesting to see whether they decide to make changes to OiNP before reopening towards the end if the year.

Still 6 months to go, so depending on what quota they get for the coming year, I wouldnt be surprised if they made some changes going forward.

I actually see that they will have to raise the 400 score requirement. As per the year-end EE report, around 14000 profile had more than 400 points. If they need 5500, they would need to increase that to 430.

I will be applying through masters stream when OINP opens again this year. Could you please let me know what is this 400 score requirement ? I dont find any points system there.
