Well i submitted my application to get OINP in January and still haven't received any acknowledgement of the same from Ontario .

So any idea what they will do with my application ?

OINP will continue to process applications already received. It is clearly mentioned here http://www.ontarioimmigration.ca/en/pnp/OI_PNPINTAKE.html#display.
