My CRS is 481 so I'm at the cusp between 'might get an ITA' and 'might not get one'

You will likely get an ITA. The STEM draw was just 500 and the first ever draw. It will most definitely come down to 481.

People are a bit skeptical because of the low invite count of the first STEM draw. Everyone was expecting at least 2000 invites. Then OINP conducted a tech draw soon after. This begs the question whether this trend will continue. Oinp is painfully slow, which has demotivated a lot of people as well.

Fingers crossed. Would like that instead of the Ontario PNP. Wouldn't want to tie myself down to just Ontario.

If we do get invited through Ontario PNP, does anyone know how long we must reside inside Ontario before we are allowed to stay in other provinces? Are there any hard restrictions?

People usually wait to confirm their PR which is 2 years. But technically, based on the Canadian charter, a PR holder can move to any part of Canada. However the province shouldn't revoke the nomination.
