Yes, had to as my OINP is in DIP stage, and as per the facts shared here, only one application can be active at one time.
And yes, I am limiting myself to Ontario but don't see myself going anywhere else at the moment, and it gives me the cushion of 600 points compared to the federal ITA.
This is a safer call tbh, if you somehow mess up your IRCC documentation and get rejected, you can always get OINP ITA renewed and get those sweet 600 points again
I saw in another group, one person submitted his documents on 7th Feb and got nomination on 6th April, it took 58 days. FSW applicant. Hopefully we should see some progress this week
For what it’s worth, it looks like the FSW / Express Entry applications are being processed a lot quicker this year so it might be worth going that route and getting your PR sooner rather than later… I get why it’s a tough decision though!

I agree with this, especially with the CRS lowering every week! That being said, the 600 points are a nice safety blanket for those whose circumstances may change e.g. language/spouse/age changes.
