Hi, you can wait for OINP to request for duplicate ECA from WES but ideally you should send it upfront because they do ask for it and when they do it just delays the processing of the application.
In my case also I waited for OINP to ask for it, when I placed an order with Wes they took 5 working days to process it with the weekend in between it eventually took more than a week for completion of the delivery.
The delays just add to anxiety when one is eagerly waiting for a decision on the application.
Submitted mine a week ago, still reads "Submitted". Sadly, I'm giving myself no chances for the nomination this year, given no one is in a rush before the holiday/Christmas season.
Give it some time bro, the system was down for a few days last week and OINP might be off today due to some Google Remembrance Day holiday. During this week you're status should change and nomination will not be far behind.

I submitted mine more than a week ago, early on November 3, and I am still in Submitted status. But I'm not giving up on receiving nomination this year! There were still 347 nominations available as of November 8, and yes, it's a holiday in Canada today, the system was down for a few days, and we still have a month and a half left in 2017.

I am also waiting eagerly since 5th November to see my status changed. I will not give up. I believe, good news will come within somedays. We should pray for all of us.
They already had Thanksgiving on October 9. This past Saturday November 11 was Remembrance Day, which is observed today because when a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the next working day is a holiday: https://www.ontario.ca/land-registration/79005-statutory-holidays
Holidays remaining in 2017 for Ontario:
Christmas Day, December 25
Boxing Day, December 26

Thanks for correcting me on Thanksgiving in Canada. Yes, there are 347 nominations left, but it does not mean that they have to be used for new applications. In other threads you can find people who submitted their papers 4-5 months ago and are still waiting. I am sure there are many master's and phd's waiting for their final decisions, etc. When I read about people waiting 4-5 months I simply cannot imagine that our applications will be processed in 5-6 weeks, they are not even started yet. Just my realistic opinion, let's hope I am wrong.

That's correct. However, if Ontario had already received enough applications from Master's and PhD students in addition to the remaining HCP applications from July/August, they would not have reopened the HCP stream, and they would have posted a message on their website indicating that they have received enough applications to fill their 2017 nomination. They did just that in May 2016. So the fact that they reopened HCP for 5 days suggests to me that they still have room for at least some of us. With this few nominations left, I don't think all of us will be receiving nomination in 2017, but at least some of us will. Those of us who don't will receive our nominations in early 2018.

Likely January, but if your case is especially difficult, then it could be February or March, given that we still have a few stragglers who submitted in July or August who still have not been nominated (most have received PFLs)
