Just received the following email from MCIIT in Ontario:

"Hello Mariana,

Thank you for your inquiry. Please be advised that our records indicate the file referenced is at the second stage of processing, pending review by an Investigator Analyst. If there is any further information needed for your application, you will be contacted by our officer.

It looks like your application is missing the following required documents; 1. Payslips, 2. Income Tax Documents, 3. Proof of business conducted with clients and 4. Balanced Sheet.
Your documents were also not translated into English.

Please note that if you are in Canada, it is your responsibility to remain in legal status throughout the time while your application is being processed by our program.
Thank you for your patience"

This was a reply to an email I sent to them in March! I received AOR on August 24.

My questions are:

1. They didn't give me a dealine to submitt the documents they claim to be missing. Does this mean I should hurry up and send them urgently or is there a standard amount of time granted that I don't know about?

2. I'm freaking out! I'm not sure wether to laugh or cry! LOL Does this mean my file has moved to a different stage, meaning there's progress? Or am I that much closer to having my app declined?! Freaking out, like I said...

3. I have some questions regarding the documents requested. Should I fax them (or call them) or should I just send them what was asked, to the best of my knowledge? In case i do need to fax or call, any tips on the best number to reach them effectivelly?

All thoughts and opinions are welcome, please!

Why are they asking for "3. Proof of business conducted with clients and 4. Balanced Sheet."? Did you claim to have experience through a self owned company (PJ)?

Did you really submit documents with translating them? If so you're very lucky that they did not reject your application...

I would grab all the documents they have requested, get them translated ASAP and email them in (SCANNED) asking if that's sufficient or if they need the physical documents via mail/courrier. From what I've gathered from reading this forum is that when they request documents via email you supply them via email...

Hi G126, my last period working as an employee ended in Jan/2012. I have run my own business since then. I currently own a Coffee Franchise. I did send them some invoices of my suppliers, as well as bank statements as additional proof of self employment, but I would be eligible for FSW even without this experience, meaning I have 4 years of experience in the last 10 years working in my NOC, one of them over the past 5 years.

Do you think it wouldn't be necessary to send the requested documents with notorized translation? Just a scanned copy of the originals with my translation would suffice?

Your file is in Second stage. Please provide required documents within 30 days. you need to send payslips of work experience and bank statements reflecting the same. for business purpose you have to send documents to prove your business i.e docs submitted for Tax purpose including sales and purchase figures and the amount reflecting in the bank statements. If you do not have any of these docs please send an Letter of Explanation for the same.

All documents must be translated in English and notorised.

There is nothing to scare about rejection. Not everyone has all documents as they have listed. You just need to explain them. They will ask you for further additional docs if they are not satisfied but not reject you straight away. So send them whatever you have and you can within 30 days.

What after profile expires?

My profile would expire in 2016 and my case no is somewhere around 57xx.
Is there a chance that applicants over 5500 would get nominated?
Requirement for 2016 was for 5500 only. Why would some one decline their invitation??
What after our profile expires? As would be the case for most of the applicants in this group?

you have to create new profile and send the details to OINP. Done.
Rest only OINP knows what they will clear and what not.

OINP considers experience gained in last 5 yrs and NOT 10 yrs. (CIC considers 10).

You should collect all possible business documents...for last 5 years...and scan/notorise them....

and then fax and email them.

Guys Please help me. I got a problem here.

I got a mail from onip asking for additional documents, two days back. They asked me for "Copy of your current lease indicating the validity dates."

Problem is I never had any lease on me. I have recently moved to new room. (no lease on me in old and new rooms). All my address proofs are with old address and currently no one is staying there. I wanted to change the mailing address to my new address and how can i support the new address?

Please help me in this.

How do you pay for your room? Are you in a hotel?

There is no problem in not having a lease so long as you're living somewhere legally, but in this case you need to write a letter explaining in detail you situation... For example, if you're staying with a friend tell them and get your friend to send a letter as well with his ID and lease papers.
