Seems like you have got AOR. Now there are applicants who straight away got nomination without receiving AOR email. But if they have asked for new DD your file will be on hold. So best thing is keep asking them to send duplicate email of AOR.
Garry213189 it is completely normal. They don't simply write emails saying: 'Thank you sir, we received your draft and will send your old one shortly'. The best suggestion is stop writing them, because this will keep them distracted, while they could stay focused on processing applications instead.
Did anyone received their Old DD back ? If so how long is it taking to reach us ? Its been 4 weeks and still no sign of the Old DD, nor there is any sign of receipt for the new DD. New DD reached OINP on 30th Aug, today i inquired at the Bank and they said its yet to be en cashed... ??? Is this normal at all ? Im just getting bit restless now..

I havent received receipt for DD yet. I was asked to re-send new DD with the AOR copy 4 weeks ago, and i was also asked to confirm the address for sending back the old DD. However I have no clue now, when would i get the OLD DD nor the receipt for the NEW DD
One one hand it's good that you're set in the 2017 quota as I don't think any of us March applicants will be getting NoM in 2016... I'm thinking Jan/Feb 2017...
No about your file number, I wouldn't worry about that. Some of us have speculated that they're sequencial, but no one really knows and even if they are who is to say that 66XX won't be processed this year (or in 2016's quota)?

I know one person from Feb applicants who got his old DD one month later he sent new one. He didn't receive any receipt for DD. They are sending DD back via regular mail, so it may take a lot of time to reach your place. If you mentioned your address correctly, you have nothing to worry about. But do expect delays in shipping.

Thanks for the reply. I did send them the address confirmation over the email on the same of my AOR, though i missed out sending across my phone number in that email. After a weeks time i realized and sent across another email with the phone number added. Hope it doesnt get misplaced.
