Yes I called today and they just said - “application looks good, for the oath just keep an eye on your email.” They didn’t clarify if oath has any notes or anything, just said keep an eye on email. It’s annoying, they don’t clarify on the phone much, they just say check email.
excat same thing they told me they dont tell you excat time or give you positive answer

Yeah I thought they could see notes or updates that may not be there on the tracker, so I wanted to see if they’ll share that. But nope. Some people get very helpful agents on the phone but not me.
... incompetent DEI hired [sic] ...
Yikes. Bringing that American MAGA-style rhetoric to Canada, eh?
Same office. Waiting on the email. Do we need to call or something. Mine is Feb 25
Email can arrive up to 1 week before the oath date. Be patient. IRCC asks that you call them if you don't receive the email a week before your ceremony date.
I bet if you call them now, that's the answer you'll get

That is highly offensive. Please keep your racist comments off this board
@Jay.a882
hi you are right i am stuck on sercurity my primary office is montreal and secondary office vancover when you all again ask them visa office
For some, it takes a while for security check. Unfortunately there is little that can be done about that. You'll have to wait until your check is complete.
seems like vancouver office is slow. wish i didn't get transferred there from scarborough. But crossing my fingers for LPP by end of February!
I wish I hadn't gotten transferred from Calgary to Vancouver. Calgary used to be fast.

hi greenelle i see lots of oct application stuck on LPP this month i think oath slots is full could be next month lots of oct applicant get oath cermoney
Have you received an email now ? Mine is feb 25 no email yet
No email yet. I was told I'll receive it soon when I spoke to an agent this morning. They won't give a timeline. I guess we have to wait for the golden email.
what i understand feb slots of oath cermoeny is full dont worry next month will get oath cermoney its just 4 month normal time is now 8 month still have time
So I called the IRCC and spoke to a more competent agent and he told me that my application is being handled by Vancouver office and the LPP is not started yet where as on the tracker, it says that the LPP is in progress. I’m not sure why I received the test invite from Montreal office but Vancouver is handling my application since I’m from PEI. It’s been two month and my application has been stuck on LPP and the agent said it’s not even started yet. Not sure wtf is going on with IRCC man. Another incompetent organization.
Anyone in the same situation with Physical Presence pending and all others completed?
My understanding is generally all three LPP items get updated at the same time. Is anyone in this situation where Language and Prohibitions are done and Physical presence is still pending or completed separately?

Background completed: 19 Dec, 2024
Test done: 03 Jan, 2025
Test Completed: 09 Jan, 2025 (But received update on tracker on 11 Jan, 2025)
LPP: In progress
I just called IRCC and agent said LPP is not started yet. But it is showing in progress in my portal. Anyone found same thing in your timeline as well?
Not the same timeline but the exact same issue with my LPP as well. Called IRCC today and the agent told me that my application is being handled by Vancouver office even though, I applied from PEI and that the LPP is not started yet but on the tracker, it says that it’s in progress. The last update on my application was two months ago and not sure wtf are they doing at the office.

just a theory but i think files that get transferred in the middle of the progress might be joining the back of the queue? because i'm also vancouver, also approaching 2 months, LPP not started. whereas i can see that scarborough which was my original office i think is making progress. so i think it's a place in the queue issue. but we are still very much within processing time so try to be patient

The processing time is completely misleading and incorrect. When I applied for my application, the processing time was 5 months, which I have already passed but the people I know who applied in the end of November with the processing time of 7 months already applied for their Canadian passport. The only difference is that their offices were Ottawa, Toronto, Niagara and Vancouver. I have heard scary stories on other thread that people have been waiting for their LPP for more than 14 months and no agent has been assigned to do their LPP yet. This is my main concern.
