Dear All,
I am sure most of us here are now due to apply for citizenship.
I applied for PR under the healthcare workers pathway in 2019.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...c-classes/healthcare-pathway/eligibility.html

Do the days from the Approval in Principle count towards the citizenship?
Or is it only from the date of the actual COPR?
What about the time during which we applied for and withdrew the refugee claims?
What do we make of that time?
Will we be considered a work permit during the refugee claimant time?
I am confused as to how to count the days up to the actual PR.

Time spent as a refugee claimant (waiting for refugee status) does not count even if you had a work permit or study permit during that time. You would begin to count your time as a Permanent Resident based on the date listed on your COPR at the Became a P.R. on section. I hope this helps.

The application was submitted on Oct 2nd, and the AOR was received today along with the PCC request.

I am traveling to India in the first week of November. Can I get that PCC directly from there or do I only need to get it from BLS in Canada?

Which visit of yours triggered PCC request?

Do you know the dates of the trip which lead to IRCC asking for PCC? As it's for trips where you spent more then 183+ days outside of Canada.
Yes, I know the dates. I previously stayed for more than 183 days in India during COVID-19. Now I am going to visit for 2 months. That means I can get the PCC from India while I am there. right?

I do not have any other countries to submit PCC from.
