I can't believe (yet do believe) an agent could say something as rude and entitled as this. Did you get the agent's name? I would lodge a complaint against such an agent with IRCC.

I was already stressed out because of my citizenship oath being delayed, if I remembered the name would have definitely filed a complaint somewhere.

Same, vancouver office. Last update October 7. Decision made on ECAS. Everything in progress, except oath

Congrats. Did you ask if you can take the oath together with your wife?

No. My wife application is still under review and I was not sure how to ask for an oath to be scheduled together. Only background check n test completed so far, everything else is still in progress.

It usually takes a week to receive certificate, at least all my friends got in within a week.. I have ceremony on Nov 22nd and upcoming travels on Dec 4th so hoping to get certificate within a week

Yes, exactly in the same boat with the last update being a ghost update on 7th October 2022. Seems our files are in the same batch.

if background check is completed, then what are they taking so much time for? what else is there to check?

Today the tracker shows updated but there is no change in the my status, for spouse the BG changed from completed to back in progress.
Any idea why this could be happening ?

Sir, same thing happened to me. I passed my citizenship test in May 2022, then on 28 September, my background check went from complete to in progress. Then they asked for my passport pages. Then it's nothing. Any update on your side?

We are a family of 3 (Oct 2021 applicant), AOR received on 17-Jan. Since then, there has been no progress on the file. I sent some queries through the web form but received boiler plate responses.

Any recommendations what else can be done? Is there a number I can call? Will that help moving the application forward?

This is messed up. Try ordering GSMS notes and contact your MP office. Which is your application office ?

Does ordering GSMS notes really help anyone? I ordered mine in early June and have not heard back from them since.

If you dont even have test yet, try calling IRCC and let them know that you didnt have test yet, they will send you test invite.
