October 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Hi Members,

I completed my test on July 4th, got 19/20 but the test is still in progress. The last update came on June 16th that states "Schedule for Citizenship Test".

Also, the only task that is completed is Background Verification which was completed on March 29th.

What should be done next?

I had requested urgent processing as I needed to travel to the US for work reasons. I had uploaded all the necessary documents but my request was never granted, however, it was not refused either. I called IRCC a while ago and the agent told me most probably the officer was looking for vacancies to schedule me on an earlier date and hence keeping the urgent request in limbo, I guess the agent actually knew what she was talking about!

Could you please update the tracker? I became a citizen on September 22rd.

I am exactly 2 months since DM (July 27) and no oath date. But I am in PEI and pretty sure they aren't doing virtual ceremonies here. Have emailed my MP to see if I can be moved to the Halifax queue.

Update / and a Question:

Today (29/09/2021) I have been asked to provide the scan copies of all passport pages during my eligibility period from the Montreal office and I have provided the document.

Context: I have completed the tests on 6th of July 2021 and since then I was waiting for DM.

Question: what does usually this step (asking for passport scan) mean? validation of physical presence?

Background verification activity status updated - Feb 22, 2021
Citizenship test Completed - Jun 24, 2021
Prohibitions, Language & Physical presence completed - Jul 31,2021

Since Aug 3, 2021 I have had no updates...with now just the citizenship ceremony oath date left. Does anyone have the above similar time line and received anything?, I applied from Hamilton, Ontario. Not sure which IRCC office would that be. Any input appreciated on when can I expect something.

I ready the test letter but nowhere does it gives the office name....just gives information about the test, it looks like a generic letter.

Hey guys, Sorry if this has been answered earlier, but this forum has a not that good search function.
I got a message looking for my passport pages, and it said:
Please note: Any document (including passport stamps and visas) that is not in English or French must be accompanied by the English or French translation; and an affidavit from the person who completed the translation.

Did you translate the stamps that are not in English? I will need many different translations since i have stamps in Russian, Turkish, Bulgarian, and many other languages.

Would this mean that I need to find a translator for all these languages? It will cost me a fortune, and it will take so much time. What are your thoughts on just sending it without?

I'm an October 2020 applicant!
I received a request to submit copies of my passport pages with a translation of all documents that aren't in French or English.
Would anyone know if documents in passports that fall within the 5 year period but date from 2010 would need to be translated anyway?

depends... mine was shown the same day, some ppl reported a month., but basically within few days
