Same here. I called IRCC, they provided me the application number. And told me they mailed me the AOR on Jan 4th, but I still not received yet.
I also ask the agent how to switch the future correspondence to email, she said I can either use Webform to request, or Link the application on the CIC online account, which I tried, but apparently not working. The CIC online account only allows you to link your Search or Proof citizenship application.

My application was delivered on Oct 8th, but I still see one line on ecas. When I called CIC she told the mode of correspondence is mail for all of us and I was able to make change to email over the call for everyone except my spouse. I think you can try to call them and try once again to change for future correspondence.

You can update your address using ecas as well. To change correspondence to email, simply call them or fill the webform whatever is more convenient for you.

I received AOR today, but ECAS is still showing "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided."
