People are getting AORs around 3-4 months now. I like it !
My only concern is the backlog of applications piling up.

Yes, but if IRCC is able to speed run through the Oaths, the whole process could return back to normal. I believe the issue of interviews is what's still holding everything up. Have not been regularly following of late so I have no clue if there are any developments on that front.

Got AOR 9:37 pm by email with pdf file in email. Sent 15 October delivered 19 october

I got AOR but still cannot use that information to check status online. Anyone has the same problem ? Tried all different ways to enter my name and UCI number and DOB, but it keeps saying We were not able to identify you using the information you provided

Just wait one or two days and try again. usually, It takes some time to be shown in ECAS.

Seems that they have started Oct and they made a good progress. Soon (hopefully by the end of Jan) you will hear from them

I sent citizenship paper application on Oct 10 2020, able to check status on ircc website as “application received on Oct 15”. However I havent received an AOR yet, checked junk emails as well. Is it okay or I need to call IRCC to request them for AOR

Same here as well as some other October applicants. Sort of normal, called them on Friday and got the application number, they said their system wasn't working properly around the christmas time and that's why it didn't send AORs at that time.


but seems they are now working at good speed.

I sent my application on Oct26, delivered on Oct 27.

I spoke to CIC agent today. She provided me the app number and told my file wont be returned.
- My ECAS has one line with status as "Application Received".
- No AOR yet

You are very lucky. What kinds of info the agent asked you for it, in order to check it for you?

Exactly what the agent told me as they had a technical issue and they sent AOR via mail instead.
