Test invite: Feb 18 2022
Test date: Feb 23 2022

I called IRCC today for my boys application. Nothing got updated since Apr 23 2021. AOR is 27 Jan 2021. The agent told me it's delayed because of pandemic. However I checked their website, it says 'We are committed to processing all complete applications within the above time. Your application may be delayed or returned if it’s not complete'. The timeline on their website is 12 month. Could I do anything to expedite this process?

P.S. The processing office is Edmonton.

I just got request letter from IRCC to email scan copies of Passport. It is asking to send it via replying to same email. Has anyone had faced same request? How much additional time will it add for my application? ... I have last update on Jan 5th for Citizenship test passed.

I did receive the same request in January, I did reply to the same email. Further, I contact MP of my region, they did submit on my behalf as well.
make sure your file is less than 4 MB as advised to me by MP. I hope it helps. Thank you
