received an email from Ottawa office from the same officer who interviewed me after test and requested some documents
—complete photo copy of my latest passport
I was in USA before so I had lot of entry and exit but road borders don’t stamp passports so he mentioned me that he will order the records from Canada Border and will be in touch with me(that was March )
but anyways looks like they are working in office not sure about Oath..
I had about 5-10 same day entry and exits. So I applied for my complete entry and exit stamps from the US using FOIA. Took about 4 weeks for me to receive the PDFs which were password protected. I managed to create another PDF without the password and submitted it using the webform.
Hey do you mind sharing the email he sent you and the details how to send the documents to CRC OTTAWA IM IN THE SAME BOAT AND WAITING TO SEND THE DOCUMENTS
PLEASE AND THANK YOU you can message me privately

I dont know why they would ask for passport copy when they can and going to order entry exit records from cbsa. Instead of ordering by default to cbsa and now they are just delaying it just for cbsa instead of doing it on day 1.
I dont why they ask for passport copy just for few people, at least they should have asked/verified at the interview. Passport will not show any nonstamped entries anyway. All these things are waste of time as per me because they just simply order entry exit or days resided from cbsa directly for all candidates irrelevant of verifying the passports.

I agree but no use of asking passport pages copy to a guy who travelled extensively for which there will be hardly 1 or 2 stamps for 4-5 years of daytrips to US.
Even cbp records are missing very few records for each couple of years that i know. So i assume that cbsa might have the same due to their interexchange of information between US and Canada.
So in this case, asking for passport copy doesnt solve the issue. Verification of residency is actually a responsibility of the officer and immigration dept/process. They should not be trusting the passport stamps like how they were doing in 20 years ago.
On E-Cas, my status was changed from In Process to Decision Made on May 26th.
But when I click on "Decision Made" the most updated information is still the test Invite (which I took on March 11th)
