I passed the test on March 13, 2020. The interviewer asked for certified translation of some passport pages to confirm entry-exit dates from UAE and Saudi Arab. I sent them the requested certified translations.

This is a great update for those waiting for their Oath ceremony, and a positive sign for those of us waiting for the test:

"We’re now inviting some applicants to do a video oath ceremony (citizenship ceremony). Please wait for us to contact you. "

I really hope they will consider virtual/online testing next ...

I wouldn't be that optimistic on the test piece at all. Online oaths are good and they are a real show off for IRCC which gives them a lot of credit and at the same time allows them not to proceed with rolling out further online options for somewhat longer. Secondly now that the online oath option is reality, we are in June already which kind of tells me that they have prepared to stick to it (or at least plan to, otherwise why bother at all) for a long time in which case traditional testing is also beyond the horizon for the thousands waiting. I wish I was wrong on this one, but online oaths are not one and the same with online testing. Will wait and see...

Did you take the certified translation with you on the day of interview OR did you send them later by mail/fax/email later upon request on interview day?
