Hi folks, we have an update to our timeline:

• Received test invitation Jan 20.
• Took and passed the exam on Jan 31.
• Two days after the exam, our online application status still indicates "In Process".

Mine is still showing in process and I wrote my test 31 days ago.

Yes, I'm really suffering hearing people getting their DMs and oath invites in a matter of days to a couple weeks. At this point I don't want to email them because I'm scared they'll trigger me for an interview.... because I've been here 35 years and the first time I ever left Canada was last winter.

I don’t think they’d do that. They may be slow, but they are fair.

Has anyone got a test invite from Hamilton office?

I have a question , I applied for citizenship in Oct 2019 and I am awaiting the test invite. I applied for my 10 year old son as well a month after in November 2019. My question is once I am granted citizenship, will my son be automatically granted citizenship as well ? He wasnt included in my application ?

Also, our PR cards will be expiring in May this year and do we need to get them renewed now or just wait for the test invite ?

I don’t think they’d do that. They may be slow, but they are fair.

I would certainly hope so, but seeing the discrimination (couples and families waiting 2+, 5, 8, 11 years!) in the family sponsorship stream, I question it.

I'm an aplicant from Hamilton with in process since February 17, 2020. No correspondence since then.
