Hi guys,

I am yet to receive any updates after receiving AOR in October 5th. I recently got married and I am in the process of adding my wife using the CSC web form. Could this delay my application further?

AOR Oct 12, MEP Nov 8, Got married Nov 28, Biometrics done November 29, informed CIC amd uploaded marriage certificate December 8, ADR received Dec 14, submitted all additional document including her medical Jan 8. I've passed the 6months timeline and no further update. My profile shows biometrics completed even when we haven't been sent a biometrics request letter for her. Background check has been processing even before informing cic about my marriage. I've sent them a couple of webforms and they keep saying nothing is wrong with my application and they don't need any further documentation for now, so I guess yes, it would lenghten the processing time.

My aor is Oct 7th. I haven't been asked to submit any biometrics. Is that something we need to submit or do we need to wait for them

I think it depends on your country of residence or origin. I'm Nigerian and applying from Nigeria. They'll send you a request letter (after you must have made a payment of $85) if they need your biometrics.

Just curious, why did they ask for ECA copy? Can't they verify it using the reference number?

That's what even I am wondering too. It's strange they asked for ECA copy.

Anyways, a week ago I raised CSE and sent them IQAS ECA too. So they probably now have two different ECAs of mine lol.

I don't think it there was a place where it can be attached. It only asked for ECA reference number and then upload the certificates.

you probably need to email NDVO and ask your queries.

Already reached out to them via webform and awaiting response. Is anyone in this thread whose file is with NDVO?

Oh okay I did not do that. Only sent my Bachelor's and PG Certificate.

So maybe this is why they're asking for the ECA copy again?

Yes for sure. Its to justify the Eca points you had claimed..

Did you get your education assessed from two bodies ( WES & IQAS both )..??
