I think it is just Ottawa VO that is either too slow or has a lot of backlogs.
Or they just randomly pick files

Ottawa has way too many backlogs.

I think most of your files may already be on the officer's desk for review. Sadly, they're being picked at random

I'm of 23rd October AOR and when I called the agent they shared that application is with New Delhi Visa Office. They don't have any information or starus. Can anyone recommend how to know the application status in this situation?

You should check NDVO....they are issuing ppr to people from April 18 files

On the IRCC website, there is a contact no. To NDVO. Try contacting there.

I am yet to receive any updates after receiving AOR in October 5th. I recently got married and I am in the process of adding my wife using the CSC web form. Could this delay my application further?
