Everything seems stalled. I thought we would have gotten the test invite by now. I am sure it is because of the holidays but I hope things start moving again.

Has anyone from Halifax received a test invite? I've been in process since Nov 3rd. Just wondering if it's my application or office.

No word yet, also in process since 3 Nov.. Waiting...

ECAS updated to Test on January 19th yey
I have no idea where my US passport book is thou
been using passport card only for last couple of years

what i read in the forum familiar to this..is a Finger print request..so wait for the letter.. and do what the letter tells you.

So it turned out your suggestion was correct imran01.

Got the letter in mail December 24 (strangely enough on a Saturday for the first time ever since I arrived in Canada!)

I did the fingerprints as required on December 27 waiting to see what's next.

ECAS updated this morning.

I missed Dec 9th test, they sent me a letter on January 3rd, i believe it's for reschedule.

Visa office is Scarborough

on e cas the status is still in process although on clicking the link it says they sent me a test invite on Jan 5th for writing the citizenship test on Jan 26 th.

Why is there such a big variance in processing times even for standard applications? Even within the same geographical area? Does it depend on the country of birth? Or the workload of the employee who processes the application?
