October 2016 - Citizenship Applicants

Just sent out my application. Expected to reach NS on Oct 12, 2016. I expect it to be transferred to Edmonton office if the NS office finds it complete. Fingers crossed.

Really heartening to see in the spreadsheet that some of the June-August applicants got their citizenship within 4-5 months, given that the processing time according to the CIC website is 12 months! Wishing all the best to the remaining applicants, as well as the recent cohorts of September and (fellow) October applicants!

I will be sending my application tomorrow to NS. Considering I am from Montreal, will my folder be transferred to Montreal office?

Sent it yesterday from Montreal registered Canada post express. Weather is fine here and Sydney (probably other regions in Nova Scotia). Doesn't seem to be on hold when checking tracking.Expected to be delivered tomorrow or the day after.

You can only check your status online after a few days after you receive your AOR.
