Date Of Acknowledgment: 04-AUG-2020
Registration Status at Mission: TORONTO
Documents Printing Status PROCESSED On 25-AUG-2020
Dispatched From MEA (OCI ) NEW DELHI On 25-AUG-2020
Document received At TORONTO On 25-AUG-2020

If you have an emergency situation wherein the passport is needed within 30 days then you can get an appointment for a walk in.

Hi everyone

I am writing to enquire about OCI for kids born to single father in India via surrogacy. Child has indian passport at birth and will soon acquire Canadian citizenship. In such a scenario how does one go through applying for OCI since the forms ask for details of two parents (which isn’t the case here).

I was also told instead of applying in Canada via BLS or embassy, it’s better to take the kid on tourist visa to India and apply at an FRRO office there.

Any leads or successful experiences would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Hi 20 days ftim oath were taken in receiving Citizen Certificate from Scarborough CPC. Further my PP was received at Gatneau on 13th August 2020 and I received my Canadian Passport on 22nd Se 2020.

I applied for passport by certified courier to to Passport program, 22 de Varennes street , Gateau, QC, J8T8R1 , at SEP 16 ... by tracking I found that it was delivered in Ottawa, I ask Canada post customer service about the cause of different destination ,they told me that it was delivered at QC (proper address) , and it was written in Ottawa because the main passport office is in Ottawa ... I ask if any body has similar thing because till now I don't receive any emails confirmation from the passport office..thanx

So 8 weeks for Passport from oath.

My oath is in sept and my office miss'ga.

I need to travel to India in first wk of Nov for a property issue. I don't think they will accept this reason to issue me
a passport quickly.
Do you know if I can get the certificate quickly and how?

Hi It will be better if your call passport customer care 1 800 567 6868 and ask them to confirm receipt of your application. I had a doubt about receipt of my application sent through Fedex. I insisted Customer care officer to check and confirm the receiving of application and she confirm the same date as per date given by Fedex.. Further my application was received by Gatineau office but original Citizenship certificate was sent from Richmond and place of issue of passport is shown as Richmond but I received my passport from Mississauga office.
