How do you check your status? Did they gave you any tracking number when your father submitted form 7 or you called and got it ?

After submitting the Form7 online you will receive acknowledgment along with reference number, Login with your user name or Indian mobile number. I logged with my Indian mobile number and checked the status with reference number. I gave submitted Form7 docs to my father & BLO contact number, based on this info he reached to BLO member.

Got all of our three OCI today, delay was from Purolator side. Raised Case at Purolator then they delivered it. Bad experience. Took BLS premium service and was very happy.
I cancelled my Voter ID card online, I do not have subsidized ration card, My spouse doesn't have voter id card or ration card.Time line is as below for three of us.

It took Almost 3 months for them to process a file for Ottawa Jurisdiction. If your Date Of Acknowledgment is close to Nov 26, please check for an update.

check your download folder. you will find the submitted form 7 and in that you find the acknowledgement number

Going through the instructions for OCI Fee, they look a bit confusing. The DD has to be prepared in favor of 'The Consulate General of India - Toronto' or 'BLS International Services Canada Inc.'?

PFB what the instructions say:

Note:
- All the consular fees must be paid through a bank draft only in favour of The Consulate General of India-Toronto.
- Additional BLS charges applicable on all consular services.
Mode of Payment at BLS In Person or Postal Applications:
1. Kindly Provide Demand Draft/Money order only in favor of BLS International Services Canada Inc., which includes Passport fee + consular fee + BLS Service charges and relevant postal charges (See para 3).

You will only need Consulate DD(The Consulate General of India - Toronto) in that case. BLS fees you can pay via debit card or exact cash.
