Fill in form 8 to update and link phone number. It's online and instantaneous. Once the phone number is linked you can download your EPIC and perform all other operations.

That is already filled and submitted Since January 4th but not linked yet as of Feb 18. I check with local BLO and the answer was that there'e no Election in Karnataka so it will take time... LoL

How is verification conducted? Did someone called your father regarding it or visited home ?

I gave BLO contact number to my dad and he called the person(you will find BLO contact number based on your epic number online.e form7) The BLO person came to home deleted from his database, but still I see my epic number is active on http://voters.eci.gov.in website. There was some confusion on this deletion process, when I checked the status it still shows BLO verified after contacting the BLS person he mentioned it will go to upper level members and then it will be deleted. Still waiting for final status.

We had four files and DOA was Nov 21,it shows the same status as yours ,documents recieved on Feb 18.

BLS will collect it and deliver/pickup will be available soon. Keep checking BLS tracker.

How do you check your status? Did they gave you any tracking number when your father submitted form 7 or you called and got it ?

Experience of submitting OCI for minor born in Canada at BLS Vancouver - Had to wait 2.30 hrs even though I had appointment. I had uploaded Voter ID and Ration Card surrender declaration, strangely it was not accepted by BLS (as per them, it is not needed for minor born in Canada). Documents submitted - checklist, form, Canadian passport and birth certificate of minor, (parents)passport, marriage certificate, legal status and address proof documents, consent by parents, single photo of minor. Paid fees using debit card (I was directly charged for courier even without getting my consent)

Give about weeks time, it will be deleted at next level (you will see message EROLL updated) and then EPIC number won’t show up

Faster in Ottawa and Vancouver but takes time in Toronto. But processing is faster in Toronto.
